Dear Readers,
If you are into job interviews in finance / marketing / strategy / technology, our audio content would help. Also, buying the book from Amazon can help you with brushing up the latest management concepts used by Fortune 500 firms, technology start-ups, consulting boutiques, etc. Most recently, we have added a plethora of solved business cases as simulated Interviews, where the consultant cracks the case. Whether you are a privileged undergraduate student in an Ivy League or whether you are an MBA student at an ordinary school, these solved cases can act as mirrors against which you can cross-check your own interviewing / case cracking skills. If you want deeper CASE INTERVIEW mastery, please refer to my book STRATEGIC CASE ANALYSIS - BUSINESS CONCEPTS, STRATEGY FRAMEWORKS, AND SOLVED CASES AS SOCRATIC DIALOGUES.
I am happy to announce that the book is now a prescribed text book in UNLV - University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for a course in management. If you are a Business School Professor, please write to me to learn more about the teaching materials which supplement the book. A subset of the teaching materials can be found here. Further, STRATEGIC CASE ANALYSIS frequently ranks in the top-fifty most popular books in its category, and serves as a management 101 guide to many start-up CEOs / small business owners desiring to brush up on the latest management theory and practice.
If you would like to see any framework / solved case fully solved as a future podcast, please don't hesitate to contact us using the contact form below. Any other kind of feedback on this open portal on business strategy, marketing strategy, and technology strategy is always welcome.
As the portal grows and becomes more pervasive in American business and education, I am optimistic that you would be able to not only gain from the contents presented here, but also to contribute to this growth in a thoughtful and active manner.
This economy is not out of the woods yet. The recession, though declared by the pundits to be over, is not over yet. Another quarter over quarter decline in US GDP can't be ruled out. The only thing bad about recessions is that it hurts new graduates. Nevertheless, I hope you find the job of your choice upon graduation in 2010.
The current edition of the Portal includes an expansion in the Technology Strategy Formulae, with an entry on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture). The entire Internet is under reconstruction, and SOA would play a big part as the underlying architecture for the next five years...
With best wises,
